How can the Rug Doctor Pro extraction machine work on so many surfaces?
When the Carpet setting on the top of the machine is set to "On", spray jets underneath the extraction unit disperse solution onto carpeted surfaces. Toggle off of the Carpet setting and connect separate attachment tools to the dispensing port on the back of the unit for upholstery, hard floors, ceilings and walls. If carpet is really dirty, should I go over soiled areas several times?
It’s generally best to limit cleaning passes to a maximum of 2-3 times. If needed, use Rug Doctor Pro Hi-Traffic Pre-Treatment, Spot Remover or Stain Remover to treat stubborn areas. For multiple passes, it’s best to let the carpet dry between applications. Over-wet carpets not only excessively increase drying time, in extreme cases saturation can cause mold and mildew formation.
